The Block (1st – 1,239,000) wins again, though it didn’t have a lot of competition. What happened to Thursday night being a good night for TV? Is that only the second half of the year? MasterChef Australia (6th – 1,053,000) gets a decent run but not good enough for a timeslot win. It all tails down pretty ungracefully after that with only 7 shows above one million and the majority of them Ch9 shows (though CSI:Crime Scene Investigation (15th – 629,000) continues to struggle for audience at 8:30pm, even if it wins the timeslot).
