First serious ratings day post-tennis, and it certainly looks like Australia is over weight loss shows. Excess Baggage (12th – 880,000) premieres low for Ch9, and The Biggest Loser Australia (16th – 698,000) while up a little on the numbers for the end of last week nowhere near where Ch10 will have hoped, and a sincere concern for an elimination ep which usually rates through the roof. The good news is all Ch7 – great numbers for the premiere of both My Kitchen Rules (1st – 1,484,000) and Please Marry My Boy (3rd – 1,252,000). Some good news for Ch9 with The Big Bang Theory (7th – 1,112,000; 11th – 892,000) rating pretty good despite the competition. 10 shows above one million viewers makes for a busy schedule.
