Primary Channels
A brand new week, and the last non-ratings week before we kick off with Week 7 next week. That didn’t stop Ch10 launching a barrage of new shows on Sunday night (and into this week), forcing the other FTA networks to somewhat follow suit – although a guarded response from them all leaving some holes in next week’s schedule.
Channel 9 scored early with their News and the ODI Cricket – Australia v England taking out 1st & second spot with BIG numbers. It seems everyone was watching TV last night, with 9 shows above 1 million viewers. The somewhat one-sided Australian Open Tennis Men’s Final was third, but challenged pretty strongly by Channel 10’s new offerings including Biggest Loser: Families, two new Modern Family episodes & the pilot of Hawaii Five-O all performing well. Consequently one of the strongest showings for Ch10 in some time, but Ch9 winning the night easily. This is gonna be a big year…

Another strong showing for GO!, adding to the big win for the Nine Network overall. Is Big Bang Theory the new Two and a Half Men for the network?
