This is where the depressing part of the non-ratings period begins. Channel 9 ran three episodes of Big Bang Theory from 7pm to 8:30pm on Monday. They rated, in order: 870,000 (9th), 1,233,000 (2nd) & 1,324,000 (1st). This is why we can’t have nice things, especially during the off-season. It was Ch9’s night, with 6 of the Top 10 shows theirs. Ch10 was the big loser of the three commercials – again – with their highest non-News program the excellent Tour of Duty: Australia’s Secret War rating a meagre 594,000 (19th). Why this was saved for the non-ratings period is beyond me. Opportunity missed.
