Just when you thought it couldn’t get any bigger for The X Factor Australia (1st – 1,578,000), it does. Massively so. 2012 is the year of the positivity of judges on reality singing talent shows, it would seem. Winners and Losers (3rd – 1,180,000) benefits from the strong lead in, and the FTA premiere of Smash (11th – 747,000) performs respectably for the 9:30pm timeslot it was delivered into.

Go Back To Where You Came From (10th – 752,000) gave us a compelling first episode and a great result for SBS – one that is hopefully maintained for the remaining episodes this week. Big Brother (6th – 1,064,000) wins at 7pm – just ahead of Home and Away (7th – 1,062,000). The big news again is I Will Survive (32nd – 364,000) not passing muster again – now down 200,000 on the first episode that aired last week. It’s only a matter of time before *a* decision is made.
