For those that couldn’t care, two weeks of hell have just arrived on your TV. For those that love the Olympics, IT’S HERE!!! The biggest surprise was The Fresh Prince of Bel Air (1st – 2,025,000) rating highest – non adjusted ratings, of course. As the Opening Ceremony (6am Live: 5th – 1,721,000; 2pm Repeat: 6th – 1,313,000) early morning live edition ran very late and into the Fresh Prince, this accounts for the ratings of Wil Smith et al. Beyond that, London Live: D1 Early Evening (2nd – 1,968,000) and London Live: D1 Evening (4th – 1,795,000) rated extremely well for the network with the flow on effect for Nine News Saturday (3rd – 1,929,000). Settle in people… there’s lots of sport still to come.
