IT was all about the State of Origin (MATCH: 1st – 2,487,000; PREMATCH: 2nd – 1,714,000; POSTMATCH: 3rd – 1,348,000)… noted by Seven’s change to their schedule to be mostly repeats and stuff they’re happy to burn off. Offspring (12th – 766,000) and MasterChef Australia (11th – 779,000) did OK considering the three big markets that normally watch them were mostly occupied with the first of three big NRL games for the year. The ABC’s Wednesday night line up struggled – particularly Spicks and Specks (29th – 331,000) and Jonah from Tonga (47th – 240,000).
