Primary Channels
A bit topsy turvy, but with no ratings this week AND the Royal Wedding, there’s not much on. Even though Biggest Loser: Families won the 7:30pm slot, it was only by just over 1.1m. Not as much as Ch10 would have been hoping for considering it’s the 3rd last episode of the series. Anyway…
Timeslot winners (nationally):
6:00pm: Seven News – Ch7
6:30pm: Today Tonight – Ch7
7:00pm: ABC News – ABC1
7:30pm: Biggest Loser: Families – Ch10
8:30pm: Grey’s Anatomy – Ch7
9:30pm: Q&A (2nd hour) – ABC1
Channel 7 won the night, ahead of Channel 10, ABC1 and then Channel 9. Oh dear.
Digital Multi-channels
It was Eleven’s night again (Neighbours won the night) – winning strongly (nearly 1% on the others), which helped the Ten Network to second place behind the 7 Network for overall numbers. The 9 Network, on the strength of GO! and GEM made it into third overall. What is really interesting is the performance of One starting to build, as the transformation from sport to man-cave continues. The change completes on May 8 – but at 3% share (7Two and 7mate both on 3.6/3.5% respectively), it’s not a shabby soft-launch/transition.
