Even though the Women’s Final was over in a flash, Ch7 still capitalised on it with solid Saturday night ratings. Only three shows in the Top 20 for Ch10; four from Ch9; five from ABC1. Once the tennis was done, people didn’t hang around either – numbers dropped sharply once the game was over. The Twenty 20 Cricket: Big Bash League final went down a treat on subscription TV – 459,000 viewers and now calls that the domestic league was so popular it should get an airing on a free-to-air for the 2012/2013 season.
