Another great night for The Block (1st – 1,465,000) – and Channel 9 – with A Current Affair (4th – 1,127,000) winning it’s timeslot beating Today Tonight (6th – 1,081,000) and winning the spot every night this week so far. Mrs Brown’s Boys (7th – 980,000) double episode debuted strongly proving that fans of the “Carry On” style humour aren’t dead. Yet.

MasterChef Australia (5th – 1,099,000) and Offspring (8th – 918,000) both performed well for Channel 10 while Australia’s Got Talent (9th – 901,000) has struggled to get a footing all season, though still performing OK. Myf Warhurst’s Nice (20th – 518,000) down marginally on last week but still above 500K (an important marker for ABC1 shows). Dumb, Drunk and Racist down to 213,000 from last week’s stronger debut… as usual the people that should be watching it, aren’t. Randling (25th – 403,000) picks up it’s lowest ratings yet and will be looking forward to a lift from the return of the Gruen franchise.
