Another massive night for ABC1 – 6 shows in the Top20; 4 of the Top5. Also a massive win to Aunty for the final night of ratings for the year. The second last episode of Doc Martin took pride of place (1st, 1,456,000), with News & Agatha Christie’s Miss Marple up there. Wonderful to see a modern Christmas classic movie Elf (8th, 545,000) place highest for what has become a night of movies. Heartbeat also led the digital multi-channel results for the night.
