Primary Channels

Celebrity Apprentice Australia took only 3 nights to be the highest rating program of the night, beating usual Wed killer Gruen Planet for overall supremacy. Though coding the show into two parts (7pm & 7:30pm) meant it didn’t win the 7pm slot against Home and Away averaging the two shows delivered CelebApprentice 1.094m – helping it to win both timeslots and coming in 5th… which is why it’s coded twice, so it can win. 😉 It also delivered a solid lead in for new obdoc Young Doctors, and ultimately led Ch9 to the overall win for the night.

Timeslot winners (nationally):
6:00pm: Seven News – Ch7
6:30pm: Today Tonight – Ch7
7:00pm: Home and Away – Ch7
7:30pm: Celebrity Apprentice Australia (Challenge Two)/Young Doctors – Ch9
8:30pm: Spicks and Specks/Gruen Planet – ABC1
9:30pm: Hamster Wheel/At The Movies – ABC1

Channel 9 won the night (19.3%), followed by Channel 7 (18.7%), ABC1 (16.8%) & Channel 10 (12.9%).

I like TV. Have done since I was plonked down in front of Sesame Street & Play School as a kid in the 70's when we only had two channels. Now we have over 20 free to air channels so imagine how much time I spend on my fat arse. Keep up, people. You can contact me here or tweet me at: @MolksTVTalk
