The first in this season – House Rules (1st – 1,658,000) beats out The Voice Australia (2nd – 1,586,000) with the latter being criticised for being increasingly dull and the former delivering all the drama. No elimination means MasterChef Australia (15th – 718,000) doesn’t really have a chance of keeping up. The Big Bang Theory (ep1: 6th – 1.059,000; ep2: 12th – 790,000) holds out against Revenge (11th – 801,000) though due in no small part to its massive lead in, which the latter can’t seem to hold.
