A proposal. It doesn’t take much for the viewers to tune in, though they were already tuning in to My Kitchen Rules (1st – 2,076,000) anyway. Packed to the Rafters (2nd – 1,412,000) also big but not as much as it’s predecessor. The battle at 6pm continues to be a slugfest, with Nine News (3rd – 1,231,000) again just pipping Seven News (4th – 1,205,000) yet it only won SYD & MEL (and only 7,000 off winning BNE). The pendulum is more consistently swinging to Nine for news and public affairs of late and it’s an interesting shift. Sunrise still owns breakfast from The Today Show but for how long?

Timeslot winners (nationally):
6:00pm: Nine News – Ch9
6:30pm: A Current Affair – Ch9
7:00pm: The Block All Stars – Ch9
7:30pm: My Kitchen Rules – Ch7
8:30pm: Packed to the Rafters – Ch7
9:30pm: Parenthood – Ch7

Channel 7 won the night (29.6%), followed by Channel 9 (20.7%), ABC1 (12.2%) & Channel 10 (11.8%).
