Audiences just aren’t watching TV on Saturday night – at least in the summer months. Look to a change in the coming weeks. Only 1 show above 1m (Ch7’s News), and then only 6 shows above 500K. Even the ever dependable movies didn’t help.

Digital Multi-channels
Reflecting the love of all things English drama on the primary channels, Heartbeat takes out Saturday night for 7Two, with a re-run of Platoon on ABC2 a decent second.
The strong performance by 7Two helped the 7 Network salvage the win for the night, but by less than 1% on the ABC collective.
The 7 Network finish the week with a definitive win on all other networks (Ch7 – 23.7%; 7 Network 31.4%), and 8 of the Top10 most watched shows for the week.
