The premiere of Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries (4th – 992,000) as the highest rating non-News programming for Friday is a great indication that it hit the key demos (and it’s fun, well made Australian television to boot). It pipped the One Day Cricket – Australia v Sri Lanka Game 9 Session 2 (5th – 990,000) in the timeslot – a rarity for Friday night during summer. Glee (13th – 531,000) firming in the 7:30pm slot on Friday, but not brilliant numbers for what used to be a one million plus show.
Timeslot winners (nationally):
6:00pm: Seven News – Ch7
6:30pm: One Day Cricket – Australia v Sri Lanka Game 9 Session 2 – Ch9
7:00pm: One Day Cricket – Australia v Sri Lanka Game 9 Session 2 – Ch9
