It was always going to be Spicks and Specks‘s night. That meant, however, that the finales of Junior MasterChef and The One we lost in the noise (at least one reasonably so). Spicks and Specks won the night and helped ABC1 to second overall for the night. Junior MasterChef finished OK, but didn’t crack 1 million which casts a serious cloud over it returning in 2012. The Hamster Wheel finished strong (better than Junior MasterChef), and The One crashed under 800,000. It was pretty tight overall, but not massive audiences watching. Summer is here alright.

Channel 9 won the night (18.9%), followed by ABC1 (18.2%), Channel 7 (17.8%) & Channel 10 (16.9%).
