The Rugby World Cup Grand Final helped Channel 9 across the night, though strong performances from from Ch7’s News and current affairs flagship Sunday Night helped offset the loss a little. Wild Boys has settled into the mid-900’s (not bad but not great for a Sunday night drama), and Underbelly Razor has levelled at 1.2 million (also not bad, but significantly better at 8:30pm with less competition and more boobs). The figures for the 7:30pm are difficult to call a winner on – in the states where the game finished just before 8pm and 60 Minutes was shown Ch9 won; where it went straight to Underbelly it also won – though the result for Wild Boys suggests it won the timeslot outright. Similarly the 9:30pm slot – Underbelly/Person Of Interest won on average compared with a repeat of Castle.

7:30pm: Nine’s Rugby World Cup Final/60 Minutes/Underbelly – Ch9
