Another big night for for current affairs television – Sunday Night (1st – 1,630,000) and 60 Minutes (3rd -1,393,000) both winning their timeslots and leading the night. News that House Husbands (5th – 1,226,000) has been renewed for a second season reinforced by the strong ratings for the show. Big Brother (9th – 1,013,000) struggles but still cracks one million. A massive result in the morning for Weekend Sunrise (24th – 363,000) well ahead of its competition.

Channel 7 won the night (24.6%), followed by Channel 9 (22.9%), ABC1 (15.5%) & Channel 10 (11.4%).
