Another close night for Ch’s 7 & 9, with Ch7 succeeding by a slim margin. Movies again successful across the FTA channels – The Santa Claus 3: The Escape Clause (8th – 620,000) – & on the digital multichannels too – Caddyshack (2nd – 233,000). Big Bang Theory (6th – 641,000) the highest non-News program again, but ABC News (4th – 865,000) consistently pipping it at the moment. A great result for the season final of Recruits Paramedics (7th – 635,000), and a nice timeslot win for Ch10 too. Cricket was the winner again on subscription TV with the Twenty 20 Cricket Big Bash (1st – 330,000) on Fox Sports 2. Who says Australians love their sport too much?
