What a difference a new episode of NCIS (10th – 775,000) makes for Ten… also boosting NCIS: Los Angeles (16th – 566,000) as well giving Ten its best Tuesday in some time (Recipe To Riches (21st – 469,000) not so successful). Super Fun Night (12th – 682,000) and hanging in for Nine, though down just over 100,000 from last week. It was all about Dancing With The Stars (2nd – 1,137,000) for Seven as it triumphs across its two hour plus stretch – if it goes twice a week and maintains the audience it’ll be a nice kick for them to the end of the ratings year. Big Brother (8th – 865,000) remains in the middle but kills it in all the core demos.
Big numbers for both commercial brekky shows – Sunrise (26th – 392,000) & The Today Show (30th – 335,000) – as they do what they do best when there’s a disaster about: show it.

Channel 7 won the night (23.6%), followed by Channel 9 (18.3%), Channel 10 (14.4%) & ABC1 (12.9%).
