With only 4 shows above 800,000 and one show above one million, it was a pretty quiet Wednesday on free-to-air television. The highest rating non-News programming was QI (6th – 738,000) which led a decent display from ABC1 for the night. Movies seemed to be the weapon of choice, be it Rush Hour 3 (15th – 515,000) or Police Academy over on GO!’s 80’s movie week. The Twenty 20 Cricket Big Bash game did pretty well again with 274,000 viewers on FOX Sports 2 – it looks like this experiment will be here to stay.
