With the footy semi-finals upon us, it was inevitable that Seven’s AFL: Friday Night Football (2nd – 1,061,000) would do so well. The big surprise has been the resurgence of Nine News (1st – 1,155,000) and A Current Affair (3rd – 948 000) nationally.

Channel 7 won the night (27.5%), followed by Channel 9 (21.4%), ABC1 (11.1%) & Channel 10 (8.5%).
