Primary Channels

With no competition (figuratively as well as literally), Biggest Loser: Families jumps to the top of a very lean pile. Only 5 shows above 1m, and all of them News bar Ch10’s reality series du jour. Adam Hills in Gordon St Tonight was up above 700K, and Hungry Beast nearly at 500K, so ABC1 looking healthy but not outstanding. East West 101 returned to our screens last night and deserved way better than the 259K it got. More quality Australian drama getting burnt and buried.

Timeslot winners (nationally):

6:30pm: Today Tonight – Ch7
7:00pm: ABC News – ABC1
7:30pm: Biggest Loser: Families – Ch10
8:30pm: Criminal Minds – Ch7
9:30pm: Detroit 1-8-7 – Ch7

Digital Multi-channels

Eleven ties for first with 7Two, with 3 of it’s shows (The Simpsons, Futurama & Neighbours) taking the top 3 spots for the night. Across the board it was a good night for the digital multis, with 5 of them above 3%, and even One scoring 2.5%. Movies work when there’s nothing else on.

The strong showing from 7Two and 7mate helped the 7 Network to a win across the board.
