A big start to Week 26 for Channel 7 – Dancing With The Stars still strong and owning 6:30pm; Downton Abbey up 200K on last week’s numbers and still the most popular show on Sunday night AND consistently number 1/number 2 show for the week. It makes sense – it’s a great show, with compelling storylines and magnificently cast. Sure, there’s some of the halo effect from Ch7 rubbing off on it, but it’s still good in it’s own right. Clearly the promo for it never hurt.
Maybe Andrew Bolt needs the Ch7 promo department to do a makeover on him?

7mate pick up a solid win with their much promoted combo of the V8 Supercars from Hidden Valley, Mythbusters and First Blood. Working hard to stamp their authority on ONE, no doubt. This allowed the 7 Network to win across all channels – 10.8% ahead of the 9 Network.
