As expected, it was a massive night for The Voice Australia (Finale 2nd – 2,654,000; Winner Announced 1st – 3,098,000) – even Tricky Business (5th – 1,336,000) benefited from the big ratings halo effect. Revenge (8th – 1,192,000) performed well for Ch7 even though up against some tough competition, and MasterChef Australia (11th – 1,048,000) still drew above one million but again lost in the noise. At breakfast Sunrise (32nd – 364,000) beat The Today Show (35th – 313,000), followed by ABC News Breakfast (88th – 47,000) & Ch10’s Breakfast (6-9am avg 116th – 15,000) sliding in a distant fourth.
