Certainly 7Two & 7Mate’s strong figures helped Channel 7 win last night on consolidated figures, however there was only 0.7% between Ch’s7 & 9 on primary channels. GO! & GEM both had very poor showings (even for them) last night.
With only Modern Family & Raising Hope delivering anything close to decent numbers for Channel 10, it’s no surprise they were a distant third. A great result for The Block, however it was the last room judgement and second last episode (and all the sizzle for the ‘surprise’ engagement) that has helped it along.. Not great numbers, but enough to be the top non-news show of the evening in second place. It will deliver big numbers next week and likely the same in 2011. Both House and The 7PM Project are struggling – the latter not even close to the numbers it had before the Commonwealth Games took it off air for two weeks. Perhaps daylight savings time is playing havoc with it more than it would like to admit. Strong showings from a special hour episode of The Force & the first episode of City Homicide, along with strong News/Today Tonight figures secured the win for Ch7.
