Seven News (1st – 1,231,000) launches out of the blocks to take the first night of week 2 of ratings, with the rest of it’s Sunday night line up not far behind. A 90 minute return for 60 Minutes (3rd – 1,214,000) sees the hype around the Newton interview off though the final 30 minutes coded as a separate (and poorly named) show – 60 Minutes – Extra (9th – 909,000) – while Downton Abbey (2- 1,216,000) again a giant for the network…. Elementary (10th – 899,000) relegated to lower in the night’s rankings but still a reasonable viewership. MasterChef The Professionals (11th – 859,000) struggles against the weight of a current affairs heavy Sunday.
