Even with the Tennis, Nine News (1st – 1,135,000) scraped a win ahead of Seven News (2nd – 1,131,000). Interesting that the split coding is already happening for ratings purposes on Channel 7, if only to separate the Hewitt & Williams games to differentiate audiences. It was all Tennis after 7pm, setting Ch7 up for a big win in coming nights too. Neighbours crept up over the 300,00 mark for the first time in 2012 over on the digitial multi-channels, making it the highest rating program for the night for Eleven.
