Primary Channels

My Kitchen Rules is proving to be a great success for Ch7 – consistently Top5 daily – although one might suggest this is because of the Manu factor more than the competition. 6 shows above 1m, all Ch7 except for Ch9’s News (which for the first time this week didn’t win a capital city). Biggest Loser: Families not shabby for Ch10, neither was Farmer Wants A Wife for Ch9 or Adam Hills In Gordon St Tonight for ABC1. There is a LOT of people watching TV on a Wednesday night, but no breakaway winner (like Rafters is at the moment). Good news seeing 6PM with George Negus lift above 400K. Mike and Molly and Blue Bloods both great shows not attracting the audience they desrve.

Timeslot winners (nationally):
6:00pm: Seven News – Ch7
6:30pm: Today Tonight – Ch7
7:00pm: Home and Away – Ch7
7:30pm: My Kitchen Rules – Ch7
8:30pm: Criminal Minds – Ch7
9:30pm: City Homicide – Ch7

So, um… yeah. Channel 7 wins the primary channel competition for Wednesday.

It was 7Two’s night again – all those British dramas & soaps just keep dragging the market in. Eleven confirmed as second with a night winning performance from Neighbours (back up above 300K), & the rest of their animation fixation catalogue performing well also. Both channels beat SBS one on share, with GO! & 7mate nipping at it’s heels.

7Two’s win helps to deliver the 7 Network the consolidated win for the night.
