Primary Channels

Another massive Channel 7 night, with the finalists for The X Factor Australia determined last night – the show not only the highest rating program for the night, but nearly topping 1.5 million viewers. Channel 10 enjoyed somewhat of a resurgence thanks to it’s NCIS:LA/NCIS double (even though the latter was a repeat, it was the network’s strongest showing in weeks). Just under 1m people tuned into Celebrity Apprentice Australia to see Jason “teflon” Coleman scrape through to the final four and Pauline Hanson be fired, though the show didn’t manage to beat Home and Away for the 7pm timeslot win. Tuesday night continues to be a slow night for ABC1, with only news/current affairs programming in the Top 20.

Timeslot winners (nationally):
6:00pm: Seven News – Ch7
6:30pm: Today Tonight – Ch7
7:00pm: Home and Away – Ch7
7:30pm: The X Factor Australia – Ch7
8:30pm: Australia’s Got Amazing Talent – Ch7
9:30pm: NCIS – Ch10

Channel 7 won the night (24.3%), followed by Channel 9 (18.3%), Channel 10 (17%) & ABC1 (9.7%).
