Big win for Junior MasterChef, expected to grow further tonight with it’s final ep (latest news is that it has been renewed for another season – Will this mean Preston, Mehigan, Calombaris will be on it as well?). The new episode of Modern Family also performed strongly, leading Channel 10 to a strong second place overall for the night & relegating Channel 9 to a distant 3rd (in primary channel ratings). The Enforcers did premiere well for Ch9, meaning it will likely take a regular place in it’s roster, even if only over summer. The X Factor did good, but it’s too little too late for this over-priced used car. A good win for Sunday Night, showing the gamble Ch7 made to have a magazine-style current affairs show run at 6:30pm is paying off… and with Junior MasterChef hogging all the limelight at 7:30pm 60 Minutes is nowhere near the numbers is used to pull. Watch for a re-focusing of this franchise over the break.
