With a big season finale including a funeral and a birth Offspring (3rd – 1,106,000) was always going to get the nod for the highest non-News for the evening. The audience was split however with the election-special premieres of Gruen Nation (6th – 1,028,000) and The Hamster Decides (12th – 867,000) – Big Brother (11th – 894,000) up there too. As expected SlideShow (5th – 1,032,000) continues its winning run at 7:30pm simply because there are no “better” options.
