A big start for Hamish & Andy’s Euro Gap Year (1st – 1,413,000), and with the notes taken from last year’s season this new block of 10 episodes is likely to maintain that dominance for the entire run. The Block (3rd – 1,319,000) wins 7pm nationally again ahead of MasterChef Australia (6th – 1,058,000) amidst all the tears on both programs – though one decidedly more hysterical than the other. Up against stiff competition Photo Finish (21st – 492,000) launches and does reasonably well and will likely maintain around that for the series.
