Primary Channels

Happy Valentine’s day. Love was spread around, but not Ch10’s way last night – only one show in the 8 above 1m. NCIS up against too much competition? Glee was their stand out, but not quite enough to pip My Kitchen Rules on Ch7. Underbelly Files nailed it for Ch9, and the battle for our 6pm News eyes is proving interesting with a national win for Ch7, but state wins in MEL & BNE for Ch9. Some solid performances from ABC programming too, with “current affairs” Monday delivering solid (but not super strong) results. 6PM with George Negus up slightly – looking like 380-400K might be it’s settling point for the moment.

Timeslot winners (nationally):
6:00pm: Seven News – Ch7
6:30pm: Today Tonight – Ch7
7:00pm: Home and Away – Ch7
7:30pm: My Kitchen Rules – Ch7
8:30pm: Underbelly Files: Infiltration – Ch9
9:30pm: Underbelly Files: Infiltration – Ch9

Channel 7 wins the night, but only by 0.2% on Channel 9 for primary channel figures.

Digital Multi-channels

For the moment, the usual suspects reign for the digital-multis: Neighbours for Eleven; Heartbeat, Jonathan Creek and Maise Raine for 7Two. A massive 5% share for the latter (beating SBS one by 1.3%!), all the other channels dripping from 3.5% (Eleven) down.

7Two’s win, and a decent 3% for 7mate helped the 7 Network to an overall win for the night by nearly 2.5%.
