Primary Channels

A big start to the second last week of ratings for the 2011 year, with the current affairs flagships facing off and Channel 7’s Sunday Night coming up trumps over Channel 9’s 60 Minutes by a mere 44,000 viewers. Channel 10’s Junior MasterChef performed admirably – its highest rating show for the night – however the end cannot come quick enough with viewers almost avoiding the show to make a point. News that Wild Boys has been cancelled didn’t hurt it that badly, though it was still relegated to its almost permanent second place for the 7:30pm timeslot. The move of CSI to Sunday hasn’t helped it at all, losing out to a repeat of Bones (ouch!). A good showing by GO! to have the disaster epic 2012 grab 409,000 viewers concerned with the end of the world and John Cusack.
