Thursday night really puts the breaks on everything, even though there’s still some great programming available. Seven News (1st – 1,188,000) & Nine News (2nd – 1,100,000) battle it out at the top of the table, leading only four programs above one million viewers (as opposed to the THOUSAND programs Sun-Wed). Even though Ch7 have the top 2 programs for the night they just slide into second place overall behind Ch9, thanks to the latter’s later primetime schedule.
Big Brother (6th – 920,000) slips to third place at 7pm, behind ABC News (4th – 1,042,000) and Home and Away (5th – 932,000) but that will right itself again on Sunday. The combination of Big Brother and Big Brother Confidential (9th – 828,000) take out the 7:30pm timeslot however, and Rake (10th – 821,000) takes the 8:30pm timeslot reasonably comfortably. Otherwise it’s all footy something.
Other than their NewsCAFF product, the highest rating Ch10 program for the night was a repeat of Modern Family (20th – 524,000). Bet they can’t wait to fast-track all the US TV show things into their schedule.
