Primary Channels
Sunday night television is back – 7 shows over 1m. News for Ch7 a big winner again (what boycott – you people are so fickle), and the top10 shows owned by Ch7, Ch9 & Ch10. A great result for Modern Family, 4th overall but still beaten by Ch7’s The Force in it’s timeslot. The return of 60 Minutes for Ch9 beating Sunday Night for Ch7 by the smallest of margins. Will the numbers flock back to the Ch9 current affairs flagship in the same fashion they left towards the end of 2010?
Timeslot winners (nationally):
6:00pm: Seven News – Ch7
6:30pm: Biggest Loser Families – Ch10
7:30pm: Border Security/The Force – Ch7
8:30pm: Bones – Ch7
9:30pm: Castle – Ch7
Despite some success spread across the other networks, this was Ch7’s night out of the primary channels.
Digital Multi-channels
A sign of the times, SBS one (the primary channel) was beaten by both GO! and 7mate on total people share. GO! won the night easily with 5 of the Top9 programs shown from its schedule.
Even with a strong showing from GO!, the consolidated total of Ch7/7Two/7mate lead it to a solid win with daylight to Ch9/GO!/GEM in second, and even more daylight to Ch10/One/Eleven in third.
