Nine News (1st – 1,193,000) led Seven News (2nd – 1,160,000) just as A Current Affair (3rd – 1,094,000) led Today Tonight (4th – 1,023,000) as both networks delivered interviews and promo-ed hard. ABC1 still delivered well early in the evening with 7:30 Summer Edition (6th – 854,000) and Family Confidential (8th – 756,000) winning the coveted 7:30pm slot.
