Given the state of the Second Test – AUS vs NZ (Session 2 3rd; 873,000), it was inevitable that both Ch7 & Ch9’s News services were the top two shows for the night respectively & both over one million viewers. Depending on who you talk to, slightly less of a surprise was The One Ronnie (4th; 813,000) winning the 7:30pm slot. Movies performed well generally. On Subscription TV the A-League game was first, but barely broke 80,000 viewers. Seven shows in the Top 20 was enough for Ch9 to win the night for consistency alone.
