Another big episode of The Block, and a good rise for The Gruen Transfer, but not a whole lot of joy elsewhere. The Renovators down, Top Design up but not to lofty heights, The 7PM Project way down, and the return of Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Generation not huge but it is in a new timeslot on a new day. The end of this season of The Block cannot come quickly enough for Channel 10.
Timeslot winners (nationally):
6:00pm: Seven News – Ch7
6:30pm: Today Tonight – Ch7
7:00pm: The Block – Ch9
7:30pm: World’s Strictest Parents – Ch7
8:30pm: Spicks and Specks/The Gruen Transfer – ABC1
9:30pm: Covert Affairs – Ch7
Channel 7 won the night (21.5%), ahead of Channel 9 (19.5%), ABC1 (14.9%) & Channel 10 (12.9%). Second time this week ABC1 has beaten Ch10.
Big numbers (4.9% & 4.5%) for 7Two and 7mate respectively lead the digital multis, and help the 7 Network to a win across all channels on consolidated figures.
