Primary Channels

NOTE: these ratings must only be regarded as preliminary due to technical broadcast issues for the Ten Network. This meant portions of programs across all their channels (Ten, Eleven, One) were not broadcast and will have affected ratings for the night. That said, play on.

Australia’s Got Talent had a massive win, with MasterChef Australia second and then news and so on. With the above issue it’s likely that MasterChef will have rated higher, but not that high. It was also a 60 min show vs a 30 min show. The minutes by minutes would be interesting, but I suspect no one is that connected with the M/Chef contestants enough yet to care who wins immunity. Also Winners and Losers picking up better than last week’s numbers sure helped Ch7 too.

Timeslot winners (nationally):
6:00pm: Seven News – Ch7
6:30pm: Today Tonight – Ch7
7:00pm: Home and Away – Ch7
7:30pm: Australia’s Got Talent – Ch7
8:30pm: Winners and Losers – Ch7
9:30pm: NCIS:LA – Ch10

Unsurprisingly, Channel 7 won the night. By a lot.

Digital Multi-channels

With Neighbours jiggered up, the double episodes of Survivor: Redemption Island won the night, and helped GO! to a nice win. It wasn’t enough to stop the 7 Network winning on consolidated numbers, though.
