A wet, quiet Friday night in meant more eyes on the box that usual, and it included The Block (3rd – 1,035,000) tipping over the one million mark for the first time on a Friday this season. Both Nine’s Live Friday Night Football (10th – 671,000) and Seven’s AFLL Friday Night Football (11th – 664,000) down a little but then not too much above them apart from News, some ABC drama and MasterChef Australia (8th – 767,000). Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell (16th – 575,000) holding strong but ratings could be better, though with ABC News (6th – 878,000) it won the the 7:30pm timeslot.

Channel 7 won the night (23.8%), followed by Channel 9 (20.7%), ABC1 (13.1%) & Channel 10 (11.6%).
