The start of the 2015 ratings year.

Welcome back TV fans, to a year that started two weeks ago. A massive night started us into the formal 2015 ratings year and it was siege interviews at 20 paces. Nine’s 60 Minutes (3rd – 1,280,000) pipped Seven’s Inside The Siege: The Untold Story (4th – 1,127,000) though it was the shows that followed that everyone was interested in – My Kitchen Rules (1st – 1,685,000) won the night and well ahead of House of Hancock part 1 (2nd – 1,383,000). Everything from 6pm to 10pm on Seven and Nine drew over one million viewers.

Ten’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here (Show: 11th – 616,000; Eviction: 8th – 744,000) bounced up a little from the eps of last week and looks to be settling around this mark, but it didn’t offer much help to the premiere of Shark Tank Australia (11th – 616,000) which though being easy to watch TV got lost in the later evening noise.
