Primary Channels

Unprecedented – A Current Affair wins the 6:30pm timeslot. Just, but a win’s a win for Ch9. 6 shows above 1m, and a big win for My Kitchen Rules. Glee back over 1m – great for Ch10, but Ch9’s Monday night line up is struggling big time. The Parkinson – The Frost Interview was really good, but at 9:30pm anyone that would have watched it was watching Q&A return to form. Interestingly, the 10:30pm repeat of 6PM with George Negus is now almost rating as high as the original airing (tonight – 6PM 373K; RPT 315K). Would a later timeslot suit it better? Let’s find out in 2012, but for now please keep it at 6PM, Ch10.

Timeslot winners (nationally):
6:00pm: Seven News – Ch7
6:30pm: A Current Affair – Ch9
7:00pm: Home and Away – Ch7
7:30pm: My Kitchen Rules – Ch7
8:30pm: Conviction Kitchen – Ch7
9:30pm: Brothers and Sisters – Ch7

Channel 7 takes the night by 6% Channel 9.

Digital Multi-channels

Neighbours ties for first (low 300s, though) with Jonathan Creek. Everything else seems to fall away after Heartbeat. 7Two wins the night – and 7mate, GO! & Eleven tie for 2nd. Overall audience share was 22.8%, not bad for a decent night’s viewing, however it does indicate some fragmentation of the audience on what has been a standard primary channel viewing night.

The 7 Network wins the night by 7.5% over the 9 and Ten Networks.
