For the first time this summer not one program broke one million viewers, and only two programs were above 800,000 – both News (Ch9’s offering WAY down for a Saturday night). ABC1 delivered some strong offerings in Single-Handed (7th – 417,000) & Hogfather (8th – 396,000), but then numbers are way down anyway. Even The Siege (9th – 390,000) was inside the Top10 with its meagre viewership.

Channel 7 won the night (15.3%), followed by Channel 9 (15%), ABC1 (13.7%) & Channel 10 (11.2%).
