News, News, and more News. You’d think Oprah was coming to town or something. Certainly a disappointing day four of the 2nd Ashes Test and a wet finish to the day didn’t drive people to Ch9 News like it normally does. The fascination with Two and a Half Men continues to perplex… why are people watching this show in droves? Is it the thinly veiled sexual innuendo? The bad gags? It sure as heck can’t be Charlie Sheen. Good to see The 7pm Project firming in the ratings – about time, and hopefully this trend will continue, although only likely last night to see if Carrie Bickmore responded to the McOprahGate scandal that is now flying around in the print media and on Twitter. She didn’t. Coupling a stronger performance by 7pm, just think what Channel 10 could do if they actually showed the new episode of Glee
