It’s a tough break for Channel 9. The One Day Cricket – Australia v Sri Lanka Second Final (Session 2 10th – 728,000; Session 1 15th – 574,000) stretching into the NRL season means reduced interest right at the time when they’d be seeking it. Mind you, up against My Kitchen Rules (1st – 1,828,000) & Packed To The Rafters (2nd – 1,548,000) it was never going to rate awesomely. Even Ch10 stalwart NCIS (7th – 890,000) didn’t deliver the usual figures expected of it. Maybe once the cricket is done (after this Thursday), things will settle down. Maybe.
