Massive win for My Kitchen Rules (1st – 1,565,000) again, and some of that love spilling over to Please Marry My Boy (3rd – 1,193,000). Channel 7 must think it’s a great joke with this and Home and Away (5th – 1,064,000), watch while Ch9 & Ch10 burn each other with The Biggest Loser Australia (12th – 811,000) and Excess Baggage (21st – 610,000). The numbers for Excess Baggage are a slight improvement on how it finished last week, but nowhere as good as the network will want them to be. ABC1’s Monday returned with decent force too, with Australian Story (10th – 860,000), Four Corners (16th – 703,000), Media Watch (18th – 689,000) and Q&A (19th – 684,000) all offering respectable audience figures. The ball is now squarely in Ch9’s court – what do they do with their 7pm reality strategy that seems to be falling over at the first hurdle?
