Again it’s a tight battle at 6pm, but Seven News (1st – 1,106,000) triumphs by the slimmest of margins (and then only because of massive historical leads in ADL & PER – Ch9 won East Coast). Given its the first Tuesday of non-ratings means things are always going to be light on but it’s the ‘consistency’ of Ch9’s schedule through the night that helps it to the nightly win. Ch10 benefits from its NCIS (15th – 632,000) fan base tuning in and hoping for a new episode (and ending up sorely disappointed). The repeat of Hamish and Andy’s Euro Gap Year (21st – 537,000) did its part for Ch9’s win though proffers disappointing numbers considering there was little else on.
